Effective Saturday, July 8, 2023, at 12:01 AM, the Crawford Metropolitan Housing Authority, City of Galion Ohio will close the Housing Choice Voucher waiting list until further notice in accordance with CFR 982.206.
No pre-applications will be accepted for the Housing Choice Voucher Program waiting list after the closing date and time of Saturday, July 8, 2023, at 12:01 AM. Public Notice will be provided when the Crawford Metropolitan Housing Authority determines to re-open the waiting lists.
The CMHA has determined that based on HUD regulation, a public hearing is not required when opening and closing the waiting list. Therefore, only public notice will be provided as stated in the prevailing Crawford Metropolitan Housing Authority Administrative Plan.
The Crawford Metropolitan Housing Authority is a political subdivision of the State of Ohio and is governed by a five-member Board of Commissioners who are appointed to five-year terms by local elected officials.
